Chapter 16 Summary

Dallas tells the Sheriff that they believe the killer attended the Academy, and killed the Icoves as well. He wants more information, but Dallas tells him she is under Code Blue and he stops pestering for reciprocal information. Dallas promises more reciprocal information as soon as she is authorized to give it to him. Peabody helps Hyer with the identification match, and confirms it is the same woman. She had spent eleven minutes inside, where no security cameras exist, coming out with a handbag heavier than when she went in. Dallas concludes that the discs they were hoping to find have already been taken. She takes Roarke upstairs, and he has little trouble finding the secure wall vault in Evelyn's office. It is a specialized unit and Roarke requires time to crack it, so Dallas goes down to begin the process of statements...
