Chapters 22-28 Summary

Based on the details of his recurrent dream, Odd decides to go check out one of the local bowling alleys, thinking it might be possible that whatever Fungus Man is planning will take place there. Odd always sees the bowling alley employees in clothes he does not recognize. However, Odd walks into the bowling alley today and discovers they have changed their uniforms and are now wearing the outfits he sees in his dream. Not only this, but Odd recognizes a young woman in the bowling alley who appears prominently in his dream. When Odd tells Stormy this, she begs him to warn the young woman; however, Odd tells Stormy if he warns the woman, he might alter the future in such a way that someone else might die who was not originally supposed to die.
