Chapters 13-15 Summary

Odd reenters the second bedroom and finds that Fungus Man uses this room as an office. Odd is struck by the neatness of this room as compared to the mess of the rest of the house. Odd searches through the desk drawers, finding several bank books that show that Fungus Man, aka Bob Robertson, is very wealthy despite his modest living quarters. Odd also notices posters on the wall that depict Charles Manson, Timothy McVeigh, and Mohammed Atta, one of the September 11 terrorists. Odd looks through the file cabinet and discovers that Fungus Man has created dossiers on dozens of serial and spree killers. Included in the file cabinet is a folder with Robertson's own name. However, the only thing included in this file is a calendar page. The date on the page is the fifteenth, tomorrow.
