Part II, Chapters 23-26 Summary

Chapter 23:

The woman was alone in a luxury apartment. Katniss knows that they cannot stay. It won't be long until Snow's mutts find them. The crew goes through the woman's closets and finds outfits that can be used as disguises, along with wigs, scarves, sunglasses and makeup. Because they are in the center of the Capitol city it should not be hard to blend in. Katniss asks Cressida for advice. Cressida leads the group to a back alleyway with discount shops. They enter an underwear shop and Cressida approaches the proprietress, Tigris. Cressida asks for help, saying that Plutarch had said she could be trusted. Katniss recognizes Tigris from the games. Katniss is unsure about obtaining Tigris' help but they have no choice at this point. Tigris guides them to a secret downstairs room where they can...
