Section 13: Chapters 20 & 21 Summary

In Chapter 20, over the next month, Turquoise spends her mornings with Eric and sometimes Greg whom she tells that she is dating Jaguar since they cannot get too close because there is so much of her life that she cannot share. In the afternoons, Jaguar visits to help her practice until midnight. With the Challenge only a few days away, Turquoise does not doubt her skills, but she is not sure she wants to beat Ravyn because she enjoys the companionship to which she has grown accustomed with Eric, Greg and Jaguar. She likes seeing them, but she cannot juggle two lives forever, and a human life will never completely suit her. Cathy may not be dead, but she has grown, and Turquoise cannot stand boredom for long since she craves the challenge.
