Chapter 6 Summary

In Chapter 6, when one of the yearbook staffers show up at play rehearsal to take pictures, Naomi knows she has to tell Will she's in the play. After yearbook, Naomi asks Will for a ride home. As they walk to the parking, Naomi has a moment of déjà vu.

Chapter 6 Analysis

Naomi's déjà vu is likely a memory of a time when Will told her he liked her, but she told him she didn't share his feelings. Their walk to the car that day would have been icy and awkward as it is now because Will knows Naomi has been lying to him about why she is coming late to yearbook a few days a week.
