School

The School is a secret facility located in Death Valley, CA. It is so secret that it does not appear on any map.

The School's purpose is to do scientific research on various humans and animals, mutating the species to create new life forms. The members of the Flock were created through these procedures by combining human and bird DNA.

The group of scientists who operate at the School are referred to as "whitecoats." This group is responsible for creating and implementing the tests used on the captive mutants. All test subjects are kept in cages, are not permitted to communicate, or have any free will.
