Chapters 121-134 Summary

Chapter 121: Max begins to lead the others down a tunnel. The map in her head seems to be spread out across her retinas, guiding her toward the Institute. While walking, Max thinks about her future and what is happening to her.

"One other thing I guess I should mention—I was really, really afraid now, more afraid than I'd ever been before, and I didn't even know why. Maybe I didn't want to know the truth. Also, my head was throbbing, and that had me a little crazy too. Was I approaching my expiration date? Was I going to die?" Chap. 121, p. 382

Chapter 122: Max is confused about which way to go. The voice tells her to trust herself. Max finds a door that is almost hidden.
