Pug

Pug has connections to many of the characters in the book but doesn't appear in every chapter. Pug begins the story as a young Tsurani slave having been captured in his home world of Midkemia years earlier. He had been a magician's apprentice but didn't care for learning it. He wanted to be a warrior. He is rather young but is able to take his possition as a slave. He is discovered by the Tsurani Great One's and taken to be schooled in magic. They are able to train him to the point that he is able to call upon great power. Once his training is complete he takes on another name, Milamber. He takes a slave wife, Katala, and they have a son named William. He had refused her advances at first because he still remembered Princess Caroline but knows he may not ever make it back...
