Chapter 3 Summary

The Elf Queen, Aglaranna and her son Calin are discussing Thomas. Thomas possesses magic armor that belonged to a Valheru named Ashen-Shugar. The Valheru were the ancient God's that created the people. Those who search out the magic items that belonged to the Valheru do it because they want the dark power and the darkness takes them over. Thomas wasn't searching for any power when the armor was given to him. He was a small boy and it was a gift from a giant. Thomas is human but the armor has changed him. He is more like an elf than a mortal.

The queen, her son and Dolgan, dwarven chief, discuss what they should do about Thomas and his armor. They decide that while the armor may change Thomas into something to be feared they need the help it may provide in the...
