Chapters 35 and 36 Summary

In Chapter 35, Lissa asks Rose to accompany her to meet with Jill about the coronation. Rose realizes that she is the glue that helps bridge Lissa and Jill together when she enters the meeting room where Jill is with Lissa. Rose asks Jill to participate in the coronation ceremony on behalf of Lissa. When Rose returns to her room, Adrian is waiting there. Lissa leaves so Adrian and Rose can discuss their relationship—the end of it. Rose confirms that she did not cheat on Adrian when she was at court, that it was later.

In Chapter 36, Rose and Dimitri wake up in each other's arms the next morning. Just as Rose is mentioning how their situation is perfect, she thinks back to Adrian's words about how others are not so lucky. Later is the coronation ceremony. Rose runs into...
