Chapters 23 and 24 Summary

In Chapter 23, a woman, Emily Mastrano, which is Sonya's cousin comes up behind her husband and Jill. Jill is a fifteen year-old friend of Rose's and Lissa's that went to St. Valdimir's with them. Rose and Sydney explain why they are there and why they need Jill to announce her real identity to help Lissa. Emily explains how she met Eric Dragomir and confirms that he is Jill's father. She relents to allow Jill to return to court, but Emily and her husband are going with her. Emily invites the group to stay overnight and to leave the next day.

In Chapter 24, Sonya and Robert use their magical powers to create an illusion of who the brothers are, so they can stay in the house without the Mastrano family recognizing who they really are. Emily arranges for a feeder to come...
