Will Farnaby is awakened by a voice yelling, "Attention". He first thinks it's his wife, Molly, telling him that he must get up for work. As he pushes himself up on one elbow, he remembers going down a corridor to Molly as she lay dying in a hospital bed. He tells himself that it was an accident—that it must have been an accident. He recalls the last time he saw her before that, when she said that she still loved him despite everything. He remembers watching from his window as she got in her car and he feels remorse, though he's also happy that he can now turn to that other, younger body that he craves. He'd wanted to be with Babs and had told Molly that just before.....
