Forms of Religion

Mark’s description of the dig site as being a place of worship leads Cassie, Rob, and Sam to a discussion of the forms of religion. Cassie argues that religion is simply a representation of humans’ need to believe in something. It is indicated that everything from money to health can become a form of religion.

Mark makes the point about religion that it is just a way to keep people in their places. He says he cares nothing for modern church worship, but does see the beauty in the history of the dig site.
