Summary

In Chapter 3, Rob admits that he does not tell people, with the exception of Cassie, about his connection to Knocknaree. He has dropped Adam, the name he went by when he was a child, from his name. He indicates that he did not consider telling O’Kelly about his connection. He believed it would bolster his ego if he could get through the investigation with his secret undiscovered.

Rob contacted Missing Persons and learned that a twelve-year-old girl named Katharine “Katy” Devlin had been reported missing the previous morning.
