Summary

In Chapter 7, Dannie and David go to dinner to meet Bella and Greg. Outside the restaurant, Dannie realizes Greg is Aaron Gregory, the man from her premonition. She realizes it was not just a dream. Dannie is shocked and unable to hold conversation. Bella and Aaron attribute this to Dannie being an overprotective friend who is often judgmental over Bella’s boyfriends. Dannie leaves, saying she feels sick. Bella is upset because she thinks Dannie is not giving Aaron a chance.

In Chapter 8, Dannie sees Dr. Christine again to tell her about Aaron. Dr. Christine says this experience is frightening to Dannie because she cannot explain it, and she has devoted her life to causality.

Dannie decides to look for the apartment in Dumbo from the premonition to see if it also is real. On Sunday, she runs to Dumbo, having once ran marathons...
