Valerian

Valerian is an agent with the Spatio-Temporal Agency, an Earth-based agency that basically provides an array of services around the galaxy. In this episode of the series, Valerian has volunteered to be one of four heroes to participate in a contest designed to help a planet survive.

Valerian is a strong, resourceful character who is not intimidated by the size and powers of the other heroes. He is depicted as a tall with dark hair, and is obviously supposed to be handsome.

Valerian is not without faults. For example, he falls while making his way through the caves inside the mountain. Without his jet pack, he is unable to get out of the hole, which means he is the last of the heroes to arrive at the Great Mother's palace.

An important part of Valerian's character is seen in his willingness to follow the quest to its conclusion...
