Chapter 17 Summary

When Luke comes out of hyperspace, he sees that he has not gotten as far away as he would have liked. He also notices that his ship is almost damaged beyond repair. He and Artoo set to work to try and repair the ship but everything they try fails. As he prepares to go back into the Jedi induced trance, he calls out to Leia. In her sleep, Leia hears Luke call to her but then hears nothing else. She gets up and notices that the ship is approaching Kashyyyk. The wookies live among the extremely tall trees that grow here. They arrive at the landing pad where a small group has come to greet them. The wookies Ralrra and Salporin welcome them as they disembark from the ship. Ralrra is able to speak Basic well enough for Leia to understand and learns...
