Chapters 15-16 Summary

Leia and Chewbacca prepare to leave for Kashyyyk. On the Millenium Falcon Han and Lando discuss plans to pay a visit to Talon Karrde as part of Han's earlier mission to obtain cargo ships from smugglers. While they are making their preparations, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Pallaeon are nearby, watching the actions between the Falcon and the Lady Luck, Lando's luxury cruiser. Thrawn knows immediately what they are up to and suggests that Leia is on the Lady Luck headed somewhere away from Han and Lando. The Chimaera intercepts a message coming from the Falcon in Leia's voice, but Thrawn knows it is merely a recording of her voice. Putting two and two together, Thrawn deduces that Leia is headed to Kashyyyk.

Thrawn also knows that Luke is headed toward Jomark to meet up with Joruus C'baoth. He intends to intercept...
