Summary

Odile goes to Italy and Yuki moves in with a couple of copywriters from The Paper. Lou leaves Lillian for Yuki, and they begin dating in earnest. They make love, and for Yuki, it is her first time. She learns that he would prefer to be writing for the arts section of The Paper instead of covering sports. She hates living with the copywriters, so she moves into Lou's apartment in Queens.

In the next chapter, Yuki begins taking a Life Drawing class she finds advertised in The Paper. She is not pleased with her work and recalls a recent conversation with her parents, in which her father expressed his displeasure at her current path. She runs into Edison in the class, friend of Trench Coat, the fashion photographer who discovered Odile.
