Lucas Davenport

Lucas, a United States Marshal in Minnesota, is the narrative’s main character. Weather is his wife. He works with Bob, Rae, and Forte to catch Poole.

Lucas is a man who loves action and revels in the hunt. He also loves a challenge. Looking for Poole provides all of these elements which is why he chooses to pursue the task. He is a good hunter in that he is honest, patient, ethical, safety conscience, respectful, persistent, and patient. He has a sense of humor and works well with non-bureaucrats as his relationship with Bob, Rae, Forte, and the law enforcement agents who help him along the way shows. He has no problem thanking people for their help as he realizes that they are all part of a team that wants to see that justice is done. He understands orking together achieves this.
