George's House

George lives in a two-story, three-bedroom house in New York City with her mother and brother, Scott. Her father moved to the Pocono Mountains with his new wife several years earlier. Before he left, he built a swing in the backyard, attaching a rope and plank to a large oak tree. The house is divided into two units, and the other half is rented out by an old couple. George's room is upstairs. Inside her closet, she keeps a collection of teen girl magazines hidden from the rest of the world. Scott's room is across from George's room.
