The King remains hunting long past the rest of his party. While he is gone, Eddard goes to speak with Cersei. Eddard tells her he knows her three children are the product of her relationship with Jaime and not Robert. Cersei admits it, even tells him Jaime threw Bran out the window when he discovered the truth. Cersei offers herself to Eddard if he will keep silent, but Eddard is disgusted by this suggestion, asking if she did the same with Jon. Eddard then tells her he plans to tell Robert the truth and she should get out of town before that can happen. Cersei laughs, calling Eddard a fool for not having more ambition, suggesting he has made a mistake, one of many.
