Julie Seagle

Julie Seagle is a nineteen year old girl from Ohio. Julie moves to Boston to attend Whitney College where she hopes to finally be able to embrace academics without being chastised by her friends. Julie is the child of parents who divorced when she was five years old. Julie grew up with her mother and only sees her father once or twice a year. Julie learns the hard truth that her father does not care about her.

Julie is a “fixer” by nature. If she sees something wrong in someone, she feels the need to take steps to fix that person. Moving into the Watkins’ house gives Julie ample opportunity to exercise that quality. Julie works hard to change Celeste from a backward, immature girl with psychological issues into a “normal” teenager. Julie also attempts to fix Matt, whom she views as a hopeless geek.
