Summary

Jessica invites Maya, Grace, and Joaquin inside her home and tells them about their mother. Maya asks how she died, and Jessica tells them that she died in a truck accident. When she was 21, a truck ran a red light and hit her as she was crossing the street. Jessica told them that Melissa got pregnant at seventeen with Joaquin, and was disowned by her parents. Joaquin's father's name is also Joaquin, and he was a true love of Melissa, but he got deported along with his entire family.
