Structure

The arrangement of Fair Play is somewhat complex because the content has numerous divisions. First, the book is divided into three parts -- Part I: The Problem; Part II: The Solution; and Part III: How to Win at Fair Play. Eleven chapters are divided among the parts. Then, each chapter is divided into subsections that are titled with brief descriptions or short sentences meant to describe the section's subject.

In addition to the numerous divisions, there is some alternative formatting throughout the text. The testimonies from people who have used the Fair Play method personally are an example. The testimonies are inset and the font is italicized to set them off from other text. The author brings focus to some words and phrases by using bold font to make them stand out.
