Part III: How to Win at Fair Play; Playing for Keeps

Chapter 8 is titled “Playing the Game” and opens with the line “All cards are on the table” (209). Eve says that the reader should now have read the four rules and have a grasp of concepts, such as the fact that “time is created equal” (209).
