Ajihad Summary

Eragon, Murtagh, and Saphira are led to a two-story, wood-paneled room containing a library where they meet Ajihad. He welcomes them to Tronjheim, and from behind the curtains i another bald man appears, surprising Eragon. Ajihad mentions that the nameless bald men are Twins, much to the distaste of both Eragon and Saphira. After a moment of discussion Ajihad asks Murtagh to remove his shirt, which reveals a scar on his back.

Ajihad is angry and turns on the Twins and asks how they did not know who Murtagh is. They never believed that this boy could be the son of Morzan. Ajihad promises the Twins that they will discuss the issue later and warns Murtagh that there will be consequences if he does not allow a probe.
