A Clash of Wills Summary

Eragon wakes, weary from riding on the horse and fighting with Murtagh. They have ridden fast and far and have distanced themselves from the Urgals. After declaring her hunger, Saphira goes to hunt for deer. Moments later as they stop at a pond to let the horses drink, they spot a man with a mace standing in front of a group of horsemen. Eragon and Murtagh discuss what to do while Eragon tells Saphira to return. The man with the mace signals and the others begin cantering toward Eragon.

A moment later, Eragon and Murtagh are surrounded. The men remark at the shape Eragon and Murtagh are in. They are slavers, and Eragon is quickly enraged as the leader tells Eragon and Murtagh to surrender. One of the men finds Arya, throwing.....
