Flight of Destiny Summary

Eragon bolts for home, as fast as he is able. On his way he wonders what he will say to Garrow and whether he will have to reveal Saphira to his uncle as well. As he arrives, he sees Garrow standing near the barn. He then chooses to go to Saphira in the forest so his uncle will believe him.

Eragon arrives in the forest while silently communicating to Saphira. He tells about the strangers in town, and she becomes agitated, smelling blood and growing angry. As Saphira's emotions grow, Eragon attempts to calm her. Her mind is agitated as he climbs on her back, shouting at her to remain calm. At that moment, Saphira flies off with Eragon on her back.

Saphira is flying high above the trees with Eragon holding on in.....
