Chapter 2, Cryptogram: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 Summary

In Part 1, Jericho and Logie head back to Bletchley, the horrid railroad town that serves as the government communication headquarters. Jericho has a flashback to his first time at Bletchley. He met the other cryptologists and was happy with his work. Then in 1940, the Germans advanced and decoding was a major priority. Jericho and Logie arrive at headquarters. Jericho thinks about Claire who works there too.

In Part 2, Jericho sees the other cryptologists, who are surprised to see him. He asks Logie if Leonard Skynner, the head of Bletchley's naval section, knows he is back and Logie says yes. Jericho does not like Skynner. They go to Hut 8, which is the place where the cryptologists work. Hut 8 is small and not nice.
