Book 1: Chapter 6-10 Summary

In book one chapter six, the companions reach a cave on the far side of the lake where they sleep for the night. The next day they decide on the route to take in order to take the blue crystal staff to the Highseekers in Haven in the hopes that they will know the truth of the staff. Some of the companions don't want to take the road suggested because of the paths of Darken Wood, but it is the best way. Riverwind continues to try to talk Goldmoon out of going with the companions but is unable.
