Toilet paper

Toilet paper factors heavily into the student council special elections, and the Valentine’s Day Dance. Eugene Ellis runs on the promise of stocking all school bathrooms with soft toilet tissue. He wins in a landslide. After he is told that such a promise is not possible to deliver due to cost, it is discovered the teachers have soft toilet tissue in their bathroom. This leads to a compromise where the school allows students to bring in their own toilet paper from home. As a result, the students end up goofing off, having a toilet paper fight. The students realize that if they want something like soft toilet paper in school, they are going to have to earn it through fundraising. A Valentine’s Day Dance with a $3 admission charge is then decided upon to earn the money.
