Basketball Court

The basketball court at Greg’s school was where someone had dropped a piece of cheese. That cheese had laid there since the previous school year. One of the final scenes described in the novel, where the teens come back to get their revenge on Greg and Rowley took place on this basketball court.

Rowley’s House

Rowley’s house was a common scene in Greg’s journal. Greg often went to Rowley’s house to play video games. It was also at Rowley’s house that Greg and Rowley attempted to make money by setting up a haunted house. Even though Greg has mixed feelings about Rowley being his friend, he still enjoys going over there and it is a place to escape his family.
