Katherine Rule

Katherine Rule is a CIA agent in charge of Soviet Office of the Directorate of Intelligence. She was married to Simon Rule who is now her boss's boss and is trying to get her to quit her job with the CIA to stay home and take care of their son.

Katherine has just started dating Will Lee, an assistant to Senator Carr, a Democrat from Georgia. She is trying to find out more information on a Roy Firsov, a Soviet who they had little intel on. She believed that he was up to something big, but just couldn't prove it. Once while they were interviewing an Italian who worked on Majorov computers, they asked him to look at some photos. They didn't have any photos of Majorov, but when this Italian saw a photo of Firsov, he identified him as Majorov. This made Rule even more convinced...
