Chapter 56-61 Summary

In chapter fifty-six, Helder realizes that the Swedish troops are backing off, and Majorov and Kolchak order Helder to fire on the Swedish boats, but Helder refuses to give the order. Helder instead orders his crew to send up the white flag. As Helder orders one of his men to send up the white flag, Helder and Kolchak get into an argument about it and Kolchak fires his gun at Helder, grazing the side of Helder's head.

At that exact same time, Rule is watching from a helicopter and she can see Oskarsson in his boat racing toward the sub. Oskarsson hit the sub just as Kolchak's shot grazes Helder's head and Oskarsson is firing his shotgun at the crew as he drives his boat into the side of the sub. Helder was only hit in the side of his neck...
