Chapter 6-10 Summary

In chapter six, Rule looks through photos on her computer at work to identify the man following her, but she does not find him. She debates following procedure and reporting the tail to her boss, Nixon. However, she knows the CIA would put another tail on her to find out who was following her. This would expose Rule's relationship with Lee. With her son Peter spending the summer with her ex-husband, Simon Rule, she does not want to lose his company. Rule is also afraid Nixon will not believe her. She feels overwhelmed and puts the decision off. She spends the rest of her work day combing through reports and other information that might tie into Majorov. She does see her tail that night on her way home.
