The Hospital

After Jasmin escapes from the cabin, she is hit by a car. The ambulance collects her and Hannah, bringing them both to the hospital. Both Jasmin and Hannah must stay in the doctors' care for several weeks. During their stay, Jasmin is questioned by therapists and police about her identity, and the things she experienced before, after, and during her abduction. It is here that Jasmin realizes she cannot reveal the entire truth of her story, fearing how investigators and reporters will distort the narrative. By convincing the doctors she is stable, Jasmin eventually secures her release.

Though Hannah seems to be adapting quickly to life outside the cabin while at the children's clinic, she is careful not to tell the doctors everything she knows about her father and her home. She quickly grows frustrated by the hospital staff, believing no one understands her, and everyone is...
