Ben Wolf

Ben Wolf is an eighteen-year-old high school senior who excels in cross country. He is very small compared to others—even smaller than the high school freshman. Ben finds out that he has an aggressive blood disease that is going to kill him within a year. This doesn't scare him, since he is never pictured himself living beyond his youth.
