Chapters 15-16 Summary

Bel Iblis recalls his raid on Tangrene, the first time the Empire paid attention. A month later, he meets Fey'lya, who does small favors and expects big gratitude. Fey'lya believes Mon Mothma has too much power. Lando is rude because Bel Iblis is not telling the whole truth. His camp has gotten soft and comfortable. Lando notices beneath gray seat coverings the blue-and-gold upholstery used only on the Katana Fleet. This explains why they are not allowed off Lady Luck and motivates them to look around.

Returning to the headquarters lounge, Han engages the bartender in a search for a specific vintage of liqueur to give Lando time to examine a repeater display for signs of slave-rigging.
