Summary

In Chapter 14, "The Silent City,” Henry is upset that Jessie betrayed them, just as Charlotte predicted he would be. He says he did not know she hated them. Jem does not believe Jessie feels hatred. Charlotte is clearly upset as well, and Henry assures Charlotte she has always been kind to Jessie. When they are all together, they discuss the current situation, and decide they should have Jessie set up a meeting with Nate. Tessa will again change into Jessie and go in her place.
