Book Two, Chapter Twenty-six - Chapter Twenty-nine Summary

In Chapter Twenty-six, Kai arrives at a meeting of the highest delegates of the Earth Commonwealth to discuss the future. The leaders all frown on Levana's presence on Earth, yet seem somewhat relieved at the idea that she is still seeking marriage to Kai. When Kai reminds them he does not plan to marry, they are equally outspoken. Kai does tell them, to Torin's dismay, that she has brought an antidote, and that if it proves to be effective, Kai will do what he must for his country.
