Summary

Simon attempts to help Ebb, but Ebb is already dead. Penelope sends out little bird messengers ot her parents to let them know what has happened. The war that has threatened to rip apart the magical word is avoided with the death of the Mage, the death of the Humdrum, and new Coven elections. Penelope’s mother is appointed the new head of Watford, and of the magical world in the United Kingdom. No matter how peaceful things are now, Penelope can no longer return to Watford for any reason, even to finish her diploma.
