Chapters 19 and 20 Summary

In Chapter 19, Jill tells Sydney the next morning that during her trip with Lee, they met with a fashion designer that offered her a runway modeling job. Sydney doesn't answer Jill because they have to meet with the dorm lady to see what Jill's punishment from the principal. The principal decides not to suspend Jill, but confines her to the campus. Sydney realizes while she is working with her history teacher that the teacher has connections with Carlton College, where Adrian wants to attend. The history teacher says she will make some inquiries for Adrian.

In Chapter 20, Sydney tells Jill about the death of the Amberwood girl a few years ago, but they cannot prove if she was human or a Moroi. They look for a picture of her but cannot find one. Sydney takes Adrian to the college interview, where...
