Chapters 13 and 14 Summary

In Chapter 13, the following morning, Eddie calls Sydney's cell phone early in the morning to train both girls in self-defense moves. Sydney says she can't because of homework and working with her history teacher, but Jill grudgingly gets out of bed and goes downstairs to train with Eddie. Sydney researches the Alchemist site for more information on the attack on Jill. Jill waked Sydney up at dawn saying that they have to rescue Adrian.

In Chapter 14, Jill tells Sydney that they have to pick up Adrian from L.A., where he is stranded. After Jill reveals her secret to Sydney, Sydney knows there is a spirit bond between Queen Vasilia and Rose, because Vasilisa brought Rose back to life after a car accident.
