Chapters 66 and 67 Summary

Chapter 66 steps outside of the narrative for a moment and gives a bird's eye view of the aftermath that immediately followed Kang's death. The assistants are captured, incriminating evidence is found, and the evil scientists who created the super-virus go to jail for a long time. The super-virus is analyzed and then destroyed. Kang's ties to North Korea are exposed, and the motion by the South Korean government to remove American troops is voted down, so the troops will stay. The Air Force sergeant Keith Catana, who was framed earlier in the book by the assassin, is released from prison. In Washington, NUMA receives special funding to replace the damaged equipment and to acquire a blimp......
