Freshly captured, Dirk and Jack are tied to the platform, and Tongju tells them that even if someone helps them escape, the launch will proceed as planned, because it cannot be stopped. Then Kang's team leaves the platform, get into their boat, and head to the Koguryo. The countdown clock reads only 26 minutes left before takeoff. Unfortunately, Dirk and Jack cannot free themselves from the restraints, and things look bleak. Meanwhile, in the blimp, Dirk Pitt, Sr. and Al Giordino spots the Badger.....
