Chapter 34 Summary

In the previous chapter, Dirk Pitt, Jr. was subdued by the guards, and they hit him in the head with the butt of a gun. In this chapter he wakes up and finds himself and his sister chained to cement blocks inside Kang's River cave. The tide is rising, which means they will drown. In the previous chapter, when they were getting ready for their meeting with Kang, Summer had slipped a nail file into her pocket, because she had chipped a nail. In order for her to get a nail file, one of her restraints must be broken. Dirk is able to kick at one of the iron rings to break it, freeing Summer enough to get a nail file to get out of the rest of.....
