Chapters 26 and 27 Summary

A dozen commandos race across the black ocean from Kang's ship to the Sea Rover in special inflatable boats, in the dead of night. They board the ship and are able to quickly subdue the inhabitants, most of whom are sleeping and completely unprepared for an attack. Very few shots are fired, and only one commando is killed. Kang's team herds the NUMA researchers into a hold in the back of the ship, and they wait for Dirk and his sister to resurface in the submersible. When the siblings return with the ninth and 10th torpedoes, they discover the ship has been taken over and are told they must return for the last two torpedoes or the crew will be killed. They dive down once more as they try to develop.....
