Chapter 25 Summary

Trapped inside a sunken World War II submarine, Dirk Pitt, Jr. and his sister Summer cannot communicate with the outside world. Forced to affect their own escape, they use the submersible's mechanical arm and a handle from a piece of the submarine's equipment for leverage and pry themselves out to return to the surface. Once back at the Sea Rover, they update the team, repair the submersible, and work in rotation with other crew members to start bringing up the Makaze payload.
